Please note that all dimensions are approximate. 

Dimensions will vary slightly due to the carpet having different thickness.  This can result in the dimensions varying up to 1/2".  A really thick carpet might reduce the available step width of a 10 inch step to 9-1/2".  While the carpet used with the Value Line would give the full 10" step width.  Please note on your web site that dimensions are approximate since there are a few people who will take out a ruler,  measure the step and then return the step because the dimensions are off a few 1/16's of an inch.

Mini Pet Stairs

The Mini is 12" wide and is intended for small dogs and cats.  As a guide we suggest these products are suitable for dogs up to 20 lbs.  The steps were proportionately designed for the shorter legs of smaller dogs.  The length of the dog will also determine the step selected.  A standard sized pet step may be more suitable for a long dog such as a Dachshund.  The steps will however accommodate a much heavier pet without breaking but would not be properly sized for a larger pet.

Wide Mini (Midi) Pet Stairs

The Wide mini pet stairs are the same design as the Mini except for the width.  The steps have a width of 14" and are intended for small dogs and cats. The Wide Mini Stairs can support somewhat larger dogs than the Mini Steps. If you believe the Mini Steps are too narrow, these products are ideal.
