Animal Stuff sent an update last week about leopard carpet.  It is available again with black sides.  Updated pricing and pictures are now posted on www.animalstuffinc.com.  Background is more brown than the previous leopard carpet.

The dog steps are on special for the month of June.  All dog steps (including leopard print) are on special except for the Value Line.

Leopard Print carpet is available once again!  We’ve posted pricing and pictures on www.animalstuffinc.com.  Please know that the background on this carpet is more brown than the last one even though the pattern is very similar.  We’re estimating that we have enough leopard print carpet to fill orders through the end of 2010.

Animal Stuff has added a new segment on its dealer section called “Dealer Updates.”  We’ll be maintaining a list of emails we send to you starting with the update of 5/7/10.  You can always refer to this section to ensure you’ve received pertinent dealer information.

Sent 5/7/2010 - Price Increase

Hi All –

 Prices of both plywood and OSB have been increasing at an alarming rate.  The cost of plywood has risen 89% and OSB has risen a whopping 325%!  Animal Stuff has been absorbing the cost as long as possible but must now raise pricing on our standard items.   According to our wood supplier, the reason for these tremendous increases is the earthquake in Chile!  Evidently Chile has been a large supplier of raw wood to the US.  Who knew?  We have also raised our shipping cost slightly to cover increased pricing from UPS. 

 We believe (and hope) that this price increase on wood will only be effective during the summer months.  When wood prices go back to normal levels we will also reduce our wholesale pricing.  New price lists are posted on www.animalstuffinc.com.

 Animal Stuff regrets these price increases.  Products have become increasingly more expensive as the cost of materials rises and rarely falls.  However, customers are purchasing a quality product that should last for years.
