Subject: Value Line Price Reduction

Hi All –

We have reduced the Value Line steps back to the original prices. Fortunately, the cost of OSB has been declining back to its usual levels.

Pricing is:

VMini3 $30.29
VMini4 $49.04
V Mini5 $62.04
VBear3 $49.84
VTiny6 $64.38
VDOGSTAIRS $74.98

Pricing for our other products remains the same.

We can no longer tape “TOP” labels to our steps because the tape discolors the carpet. On items without a back there is a sticker on the inside of the frame clearly showing which side is UP. On items with backs we will include a statement on the packing list stating that the open side should be on the floor.

Please, please let us know about any returns coming our way. We cannot search in Quickbooks on the Ship To field. Items received with only the customer’s name are difficult to track back to the correct dealer. We do require an RMA # be put on the outside of the box so we can track the item and make refunds promptly.

Animal Stuff has slightly reduced the cost of the Value Line steps as shown in red. OSB prices have declined some in the last few weeks. We hope to have additional cost reductions for the Value Line in the next few weeks.

The dog steps are on special for the month of June. All dog steps (including leopard print) are on special except for the Value Line.

Hi All –

Prices of both plywood and OSB have been increasing at an alarming rate. The cost of plywood has risen 89% and OSB has risen a whopping 325%! Animal Stuff has been absorbing the cost as long as possible but must now raise pricing on our standard items. According to our wood supplier, the reason for these tremendous increases is the earthquake in Chile! Evidently Chile has been a large supplier of raw wood to the US. Who knew? We have also raised our shipping cost slightly to cover increased pricing from UPS.

We believe (and hope) that this price increase on wood will only be effective during the summer months. When wood prices go back to normal levels we will also reduce our wholesale pricing. New price lists are posted on www.animalstuffinc.com.

Animal Stuff regrets these price increases. Products have become increasingly more expensive as the cost of materials rises and rarely falls. However, customers are purchasing a quality product that should last for years.
